International Cabinets are a Western Australian company renowned for high-quality workmanship in furniture and cabinets. The company has established itself as a leader in its field with design and manufacturing for all residential and commercial requirements.

International Cabinets is a family owned and operated business with over 40 employees, who have been in business since 1973 with quality and continual innovation of new ideas in the design and construction of cabinets and furniture, A bye product being the acquirement of some of WA and Australia’s most prestigious industry awards.

International Cabinets are recognised by their clients and peers within the industry as trendsetters in Western Australia, of individually designed custom built cabinets and furniture for any domestic or commercial application. The pinnacle for the design division was gaining justified recognition by taking off many awards over the years. These include the Housing Industry Association (HIA) West Australian Kitchen Designer of the Year Award in 2006 and then proceeding to win the 2007 Australian Kitchen Designer of the Year award presented in Sydney.

This is the highest award in design from a national perspective and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the staff at International Cabinets. This was consolidated by taking off the ‘Best of the Best’ award for WA at the 2007 Furnishing Industry Association of Australia (FIAA) award presentation and then going one better by winning the national award for ‘Australian Best of the Best’. In 2008 International Cabinets were awarded the ‘West Australian Kitchen Designer of the Year’ and the ‘West Australian Bathroom Designer of the Year’ awards at the Housing Industry Association Kitchens and Bathrooms awards. No company has ever taken off both categories in the one year locally, so this was a huge achievement.

In 2009 International Cabinets went on to win Australian Kitchen Designer of the Year award presented in Brisbane. This is the second time that International Cabinet Designs has been recognised as “Australian Kitchen Designer of the Year” having also taken off the award in 2007. It is a credit to all the hard work by all the staff and management and has cemented the business as one of Australia’s leading designers and manufacturers, and consolidated their position.

You will be very impressed with the degree of professionalism, time and care taken with each and every client. International Cabinets maintain strict quality control of all cabinet work in their factory and strive to co-ordinate other trades, to give the best installation of manufactured items.

All items are individual, one off, custom made pieces and no production run systems are used.

International Cabinets closely liaise with many of Perth’s top project and individual ‘One-off Home Builders’, Architects, Building and Interior Designers and Owner Builders. A majority of their work comes from the area of recommendation referrals.
